Full House Farm Farmstay Trailer

Full House Farm Farmstay Trailer

Full House Farm is a small family farm where sustainable living is shared with all who visit. There are many ways to visit the farm and the Farmstay Trailer is one.

The Farmstay Trailer is a 34 foot by 11 foot permanently set fifth wheel (or caravan, as they call it at Farmstays in Europe) set at the top of our 23 acres with sunset views, a hot tub, and easy access to the organic garden.

The Farmstay Trailer is a private, self-contained dwelling with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, separate bedroom with a king bed, bathroom with shower, and a washer/dryer. The living area has and electric fireplace, two lounge chairs and a double convertible couch. There is a stereo and flat screen 'Smart TV' with surround sound and streaming movies through Roku and wireless Internet connection.

Outside, you will be able to enjoy a wonderful private patio and hot tub with westward views for sunsets, morning and afternoon sun, 50 feet from the maintained-for-guests organic garden. There is forced air heating and ducted air conditioning.

Full House Farm is a 23-acre mostly wild land. We have invited the wildlife to be at home here and for that reason you will often be able to see deer, raccoon, bobcat, and fox. Playing in the air currents above the land on a daily basis are the graceful turkey vultures, chatty red-shoulder hawks, and reserved, confident, red-tail hawks. All visitors are welcome to enjoy the private walking trails that wind through the forest, oak groves, and meadows on the property.

While you are here, you can collect your own eggs or learn to milk a goat. Throughout the year, you are welcome to stroll through our organically grown garden to pick fresh fruits and vegetable to snack on. Depending on the season, you can find salad greens, tomatoes, strawberries, string beans, cucumbers, peas, herbs, and more.

Your stay would include complimentary breakfast foods (organic eggs from our own hens, a loaf of locally baked organic bread, organic coffee & tea, organic butter & home-made jam) for you to cook in your kitchen. There is also complimentary use of two small maintained-for-guests gardens from which you can enjoy supplemental harvesting. All linens are provided and the kitchen is fully equipped. You may also enjoy complimentary participation in one of our Farm Life Tours at no extra charge and if there are none scheduled while you are here we will give you an informal private tour!
